Linda Pendleton’s Bio
Linda Pendleton's award-winning writing covers a variety of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, Comic book scripting, e-books and e-courses, and screenplays. Works of fiction include the crime suspense novel, Roulette, the Search for the Sunrise Killer, written with her husband, Don Pendleton; her mystery suspense novel, The Unknown; Sound of Silence; Deadly Flare-Up; and her PI Catherine Winter Series.
Don Pendleton (1927-1995) is widely known for his original Executioner, Mack Bolan series of thirty-eight novels, and is considered the “father of action/adventure.” The first book in the series, War Against the Mafia, was published in 1969. Don and Linda adapted and scripted the novel in Comic format in 1992. In 1996, following Don's death, Linda adapted and scripted the second Executioner book, Death Squad, to Comic.
Linda has written screenplay adaptations of her novels, and has co-written an original screenplay. She recently published an historical novel set in the Civil War period, Corn Silk Days, Iowa, 1862, and is working on another novel.
Don and Linda Pendleton wrote the popular nonfiction book, To Dance With Angels, presently in its fifth edition. Linda's nonfiction works include A Walk Through Grief: Three Principles of Angelic Wisdom; A Small Drop of Ink; and with Don Pendleton she co-authored Whispers From the Soul: The Divine Dance of Consciousness; The Metaphysics of the Novel: The Inner Workings of a Novel and a Novelist; and wrote the Introduction to Cosmic Breath, Metaphysical Essays of Don Pendleton.
Linda is a former member of The Authors Guild, The Authors League, Sisters In Crime, and EPIC Authors Organization. Although most of her time is devoted to her love of writing, she also enjoys the exploration of her family's genealogical roots. She lives in California.
